Today marks the three months of a life changing event that flipped my world upside down in a matter of seconds. I dove into a lake, and shattered my vertebrae, causing a severe spinal cord injury.

I wouldn’t be standing (litterally) here today if it weren’t for the incredible medical teams, my friends, and my family.

Without the love of my life @kat.but who has spent every single day by my side: nuturing and caring for me, I have no idea how I could have made it through this.

I’m also beyond blessed to have been surrounded by so much love. My parents who dropped everything to stay with me at the hospital, filling me with hope and courage, and my siblings who flew back out to be with us and make me laugh.

To all my sweet friends who visited, called, and shared all their love, you showed me how deep your support is, I am so so thankful.

This journey was made easy by all of you.

Today, I walk again, and I’m on my way to making a total recovery.
