2025 reflection post incoming:

Catherine & Russell here ✨ 2025 was defined by… burnout. A burnout that carried over from 2024. We both worked full-time jobs (still do), had a wedding to plan, and struggled to find a balance between Sari-Sari Sundry and our personal lives 😪

After we got married back in December 2024, we hadn’t realised how burned out we had been until we explored the artists’ booths of HKICS 8 and found this euphoric sense of relief that it wasn’t us working behind those booths.

But last month’s events (@revamp.hongkong’s Christmas Market & @hkicshow 10) gave us the spark that we lost in the first half of 2025. The spark of creation that fueled us from the very beginning. And we hope that spark will carry us through to 2026 💪

Here’s a few things that we’re excited about in 2026!

🔶 We’re doing two school fairs this month (Island School Jan 23 & Renaissance College Jan 31 ➡️ more info soon!)

🔶 We’re coming back to HKICS 11! (May 23 to 25 ➡️ That’s right, it’s a 3-day event this year 📅)

🔶 We’re launching newer products (more stickers! postcards?! ✨)

🔶 More projects with other artists and brands! (hooray for collaboration! ✨)

🔶 We plan to launch our website (finally, right? 🖥️)

🔶 Aaaand we might be changing our look soon… (stayed tuned for that 👀)

what a crazy way to end the year —

✅ gathered Filipino artists in HK + Macau together
✅ did our first @hkicshow market together
✅ initiated a sticker rally
✅ curated a cute mystery gift bag
✅ created a bomb ass collab poster
✅ made new friends along the way

So grateful for the opportunity to work and collaborate with these amazing Filipino artists and I can’t wait for May 2026! HKICS 11 here we come!
