From baby and child pics and photos of you over the years... to joy, laughter, dancing and growth with family and friends... to personal and professional achievements.. to what ageing means to you right now… we are absolutely LOVING seeing you share your THIS IS AGEING post, showing the world what ageing looks like in all its diversity.

Every post brings a different perspective, challenges assumptions and helps broaden the picture of what ageing means: Because ageing is universal, but there isn’t a universal experience of ageing.

And that’s what makes this campaign so important. It’s about all of us, wherever we are in life and whatever ageing looks like for us. And in doing so, we can help normalise it, remove the fear and stigma surrounding it, stop ‘othering’ it and show it for what it is: a universal, lifelong, natural experience that connects us

Here’s a round-up of some of your fabulous posts so far for inspiration — and we’d more of you to get involved so we can keep spreading the message! 💥

🌟 HOW TO TAKE PART AND BE FEATURED 🌟

👉 CREATE a Reel, carousel, Story or post showing what THIS IS AGEING means to you. Include the words “This Is Ageing”, either on screen or spoken aloud.

It could be a moment from everyday life, a talent or passion, a look you love, photos of you across the years, a challenge to an age stereotype or something completely different. There’s no rulebook. Make it yours.

👉 ADD #ThisIsAgeing and TAG @ageismisneverinstyle so we can see your post and share it, with the chance to be featured across our platforms.

👉 BONUS: Search “ThisIsAgeing” or “Ageism Is Never In Style” in Instagram GIFs/stickers to find our official campaign sticker, which translates the phrase across languages and helps take the message beyond borders.

👉 PASS IT ON: Tag five people and invite them to share their own take on THIS IS AGEING, too.

Let’s fill social media with the many different realities of ageing, challenge the stereotypes and take this message beyond our usual circles.

Because whatever your age. Wherever you live. If you’re alive, you’re ageing.

On this world mental health day, I’m reflecting on how far I’ve come- 5 books with my name in/on them, lived experiences ( one through poetry)

We need to talk about mental health more now than ever!

Grateful to those who gave me the opportunity to be part of these collaborations for the chance to tell different angles of my story 💜

Four years ago today, a chapter of my life became part of a book.

Alongside 14 other women, I became a published author, sharing my story of being groomed and trafficked, escaping and finding the courage to start again in the book Seen Too.

Sharing something so personal was a huge step. Today, I’m celebrating the woman who took that step and all the chapters she has lived since.

There have been new beginnings, difficult endings, friendships, opportunities and moments I once couldn’t have imagined. I’m still learning, still growing and still discovering what I want my next chapter to look like.

Today, I’m building a life with more choice, connection and possibility. Through Finding Your Glow, I’m creating space for other women to discover those things too.

Sometimes that starts with a conversation or meeting someone who understands. Sometimes it’s doing something for yourself. Sometimes it’s exploring an opportunity to earn a little extra, build something of your own or have more choices about your future.

That is part of what drew me to Tropic, and why I love sharing the opportunity with other women. We all have different reasons for wanting something more, whether that’s independence, a new direction, a holiday or simply room for a few treats.

Thank you to Kat Massey, TAUK Publishing, my fellow authors and everyone who helped bring our stories into the world. Our book went on to become an Amazon bestseller in multiple categories, with proceeds supporting mental health charity Advance Brighter Futures. It is still available to buy on Amazon.

Four years on, I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited about what I might write into my life next.

The last photo is me today, finding my own glow and helping other women discover connection, opportunity and choices for their next chapter.

If you’re wondering what your own next chapter could hold, I’d love to connect. You don’t need to have it all worked out to begin.

She can’t even come just for a coffee!!!

When two of your besties come for a coffee catch up to sort our London trip to @58thstreetofficial in November and @aga_mortlock_photog brings her camera with her .. chaos always descends. No shoot planning.. the only planning we did was what to have for lunch! And she says let’s get you some shots… I actually forgot what to do!!!

Wait till you see what @aga_mortlock_photog got me wearing!!

Last night I enjoyed a gorgeous evening hosted by Kat and Michele.

Held in Kat's Koko Moon space, we created mala bracelets guided by Michele from Maple Blossom, starting with a grounding meditation and then making two fabulous bracelets.
Just 9 of us, creating, chatting and having a fabulous evening, I had a lovely time and would highly recommend Kat's events and Michele's Workshops.

✂️ COMING SOON

I THINK THE SCISSORS ARE COMING OUT OF RETIREMENT…

Before Instagram.

Before reels.

Before everyone had a ring light and called themselves a content creator. 😂

There was me.
A pair of scissors.
A chair.

And years of making women feel bloody brilliant about their hair.

I stepped away from hairdressing years ago.
Life moved on.
I moved on.

But lately I've been thinking…
Why did I ever stop doing something I was actually really bloody good at?
So…
I'm going back to basics.

✂️ Just cutting.
No colour.
No chemicals.
No 3-hour salon appointments.
No salon faff.

Just good old-fashioned cutting, styling and knowing what the hell I'm doing with a pair of scissors.
The 1990s stylist.

Before Instagram. Now on Instagram.
I'm not quite ready to open the diary yet…
But the scissors are officially out.
COMING SOON.

And if you remember me from behind the chair all those years ago…
well… hello again. 🧡✂️

🍂 Maple, Moon & Mala 🌙

There’s something about autumn that naturally invites us to slow down.

To notice what we’re ready to let go of.
To find a little more balance.
To make space for what comes next.

That’s what my Maple Blossom Mala Workshops are all about.

A few hours to pause, connect, laugh, create and be present while making your own personalised mala bracelet, bead by bead.

We’ll work with carefully chosen semi precious gemstones, traditionally associated with protection, grounding and balance, weaving your own intentions and meaning into your bracelets.

Your mala is something to wear and use each day, a gentle reminder to pause, breathe and reconnect with the intention you created it with.

This autumn, I’m joining the gorgeous Kat from KoKo Moon in her warm, beautiful country home in North Wales for a special evening of creativity, connection, seasonal ritual and a little bit of magic. 🍂🌙

MAPLE, MOON & MALA
🍁 1st October | 6–8.30pm
📍 North Wales, (Gwernaffield)

Just 6 spaces available.

If you’re feeling the pull to slow down, create something meaningful and embrace the energy of the changing season, please come and join us. 🤎
If you’d love to join us for this special evening, bookings close at 11pm on 28th September.
Reserve your place via the link in my bio. 🌙✨

Fancy an evening of autumn magic, creativity and of course a little woo! 🪄✨🔮 please join us, Kat & Michele,on Oct. 1st as we slow things down, get grounded, connect with the energy of the season and make space for gratitude, balance and letting go! Think grounding, protection, abundance, courage, calm and whatever you feel called to welcome into the season ahead.

What’s included:
✨Guided grounding and gentle visualisation.
Intuitively choose from a beautiful selection of Autumn Harvest gemstones, each with its own unique energy and qualities.
✨Create 2x mala bracelets, one inspired by the gemstones you feel drawn to and another with beautifully grounding sandalwood beads. ✨
✨A gentle introduction to malas, their origins, meaning and how they’re used in mindfulness practice.
✨Light refreshments to enjoy throughout the workshop.
✨Koko Moon’s beautiful, peaceful space, with plenty of time to connect, reflect and unwind.

You’ll create more than a bracelet, it’ll become your own little piece of autumn joy, created with intention, energy and a sprinkling of magic, uniquely yours. ✨🍁🌙

🚨 DAY 6: Silver hair, don’t care! 👵🏼✨ Let’s talk about natural Grandma's

We are heading into the weekend, and today I wanted to dedicate my campaign post to something I am incredibly proud of, my natural grey hair! 🤍

I am 51 years young, 100% natural, and I love embracing my silver locks. For decades, TV commercials painted a very old-fashioned picture of what a grandmother is supposed to look like. But modern grandmas are out networking, running around after grandkids, and living life to the absolute fullest! 🚀

I want to bring that authentic, confident energy to the @icelandfoods Christmas advert. No filters, no fuss—just a proud Flintshire Gran showing the nation that silver is beautiful. 🎄✨

Do we want to see more real, natural women on our telly screens? Let me know in the comments! 👇

👇 JOIN THE SILVER MOVEMENT:
If you love keeping it real, please SHARE this Reel to your story and TAG @icelandfoods and @richardwalkeruk to help my neighbour Tarsem see this silver glow! 😉
