To be completely transparent, I’ve contemplated closing our doors more than once since becoming a mom. They’re not kidding when they say a business is your baby. When Ethan arrived, I felt torn—like I was letting down not just my first baby, but all the MKC girls who work tirelessly to keep our doors open.
Retail is a beast—but a beautiful beast when tamed. Today, I want to thank those who have helped tame it and allowed me to be the present mom I wanted to be for E.
Margo, Kat, Julia—without you, I would have thrown in the towel years ago. These past couple years has been the most incredible, humbling experience and I’m so grateful God chose me to not only be E’s mom, but a mom to the MKC team.
You girls have left a mark on my heart that I’ll never forget. It truly takes a village, and you all have been mine.
Thank you to every MKC employee, their moms, and our loyal shoppers—you make this all possible.
