Waterpolo was never meant to be my sport, but sophomore year I was asked to help out so we could have make team. Ever since then, I’ve built friendships that will last forever and lessons that I’ll use for life. My teammates changed throughout my career, but one thing that never changed was the feeling of having a second family that I could turn to for anything. Even after losses, we laughed, sang, and found the good in bad times. Countless early morning practices, late nights on the bus, many minutes shoved under water, too many times in the exclusion box and 11 goals later, still couldn’t have prepared me for the moment I said goodbye to this sport. Thank you Heath Waterpolo for the best 3 years of high school waterpolo. -#2

To TJ,
You watched me grow from a stubborn 15 year old who couldn’t take any instruction, to a little less stubborn 17 year old who is willing to learn and improve at any moment. I have cherished every bus ride sitting next to you gossiping, and our ritual of nobody else capping me before games but you. You have forever impacted my life. Despite the hardships our team faced, you stayed positive. You’re the best coach, and mentor this team could have ever had.
