🇮🇪 #TapClipOfTheDay: The luck of the Irish, they say. In the REPUBLIC OF IRELAND, luck has had very little, if anything at all, to do with the amount of talent, hard work, dedication, determination, and passion we see from tap dancers there. Each individual artist puts in immense effort and time into their craft, and it has gotten them recognized and embraced… and has earned them respect the world over. I’d like for all of you to meet Gabriella Adami (@gabriellaadamidb), who is from the Irish capital, Dublin. She has been a regular face in Ireland’s tap dance scene for a while now, rubbing elbows with some of the country’s best, and making her presence known in performances and at events like the @shantalliv_tap_festival. THEME FACULTY ANNOUNCEMENT ⭐️⭐️⭐️ KATARINA ROBERTS will once again be joining the Theme Faculty @_katarina_r 🇮🇪 - Katarina will be teaching 1 theme class, where she will introduce some tap rep and tap history 🌟 - Katarina was trained first at @kerrytapensemble with @drtrishm before joining the Luthier Advanced Program in 2022. She graduated in June ‘23 with the next stop being the University of Aberdeen for a degree in Neuroscience with Psychology - She has also been fortunate to be @avalonrathgeb who choreographed and taught her Dance World Cup Junior Gold Medal dance @dwc_uk_teams - Katarina loves to travel the world to attend tap dance festivals and take classes by amazing world class faculty. In 2019, at Tap City, she was awarded the ATDF Buster Brown Scholarship by @ayolives on their pre professional program. She has also attended and performed in student showcases at Tap City @atdforg, @stockholmtapfestival, @tapdancefestivaluk, @luthiertapfestival and @taptastic_festival - Katarina continues to train and perform with @kerrytapensemble where she is also the dance captain and assistant teacher. She is a member of IDO Tap Team Ireland, representing her country at European and world championships. Introducing our Team Ireland Adult Team 🇮🇪 Katarina and Gabriella ✅💚 - @_katarina_r @gabriellaadamidb - Gabriella Adami, a Brazilian dancer and choreographer, began dancing at the age of 6 at Centro de Dança Rio, earned her Diploma of Dance in 2014, and has since performed in notable productions like “Canibal” direct by the Stephen Harper. Trained at Broadway Dance Center and earned scholarships for tap dance festivals worldwide. She now lives in Ireland and last year came to @shantalliv_tap_festival where she met Dr Trish and her duo partner Katarina. And joined the KTE Associates program and successfully auditioned for Team Ireland. Gabriella says “I think tap dance is one of the most beautiful types of dance because we are able to create their own music and dance at the same time” - Katarina was trained first at @kerrytapensemble with @drtrishm before joining the Luthier Program. Shantalliv Tap Festival 2024 (👉The Most Rural Tap Festival In The World👈) At this festival you may wake up to a cow having a staring competition with you, you walk into a bar there’s a Ceilidh, sheep in the road make you late for class, a studio where the electric is generated by £1 coins and if you forget to top up it’s a blackout, THE BEST GUINNESS, unspoilt beaches, fresh air, tap classes in a cow shed, a supportive and GROWING COMMUNITY. Thank you @shantalliv_tap_festival for inviting me to be a part of your 2nd tap festival.
