Why are wrestlers adding rucking to their training?

Kat, a collegiate wrestler at Aurora University, and Sarah, a state-qualifying wrestler at Montini Catholic, use rucking to build leg strength, endurance, and the ability to keep working under fatigue.

For Kat, the fit matters too. She trains with the Frontline Athletic 14L Trailblazer; a women-specific ruck designed to sit more naturally on a smaller frame.

Different sport. Same requirement: stay strong when the work gets heavy.

A month ago, we launched our first-ever 30 for 30 Challenge with one simple goal:

Move 30 miles during the month of June.

We didn’t know who would join. Or how far it would reach.

By the end of the month, 114 people from the US, UK, and Australia had accepted the challenge.

Yesterday, for the first time, some of that online community met in person.

At 7:00 AM, 35 people gathered at Centennial Beach in Naperville, IL, for our first-ever Frontline Athletic Naperville Community Ruck.

No race. No finish line.

Just people choosing to show up for each other.

That’s the community we’re building.

And we’re just getting started.
