It's taken time to do this, but the last few months have been spent birthing @bea.hadji and my play, NAMASTE! The response has honestly been phenomenal, from people feeling seen, to people saying it was their favourite thing they've seen this year. I am so so proud of this show, and my God Bea is the best to work with!

But it's been amazing on so many levels - @ryanghinds is the best director I have worked with, making the room fun, positive and friendly, whilst mining details and collaborating and believing in our project every step of the way. A true icon and forever grateful to @queertheatreuk for introducing us!

@alexlturner is the BEST stage manager I could ever work with - so organised, positive attitude, dream to work with and I loved BAAMASTEing with you, and cannot thank @thedirectorsplayground enough for allowing Bea and me to meet and work with you during the R&D phase of the show.

Our main cast @katdeleiros @athepoet_ @donald_sze @neasactingcorner @brycefletch were the dream cast to work with. The loveliest people to work with, and honestly how they're not booked even more than they are is beyond me - so damn talented! Plus those moments where the cast takes the script into their own hands, offer ideas and deepen each character beyond what Bea and I had thought!

Then @wenyu.yen being the LIFESAVER helping fight phantom sound equipment, being a great presence in the room and lighting everything beautifully, plus @lillia_nabryan for such a professional and chic design, @tamara_amalie for the amazing costume design, @mariana_ssobrinho doing gorge photography, @theshowreelcompany_ for amazing videography, and @lenny2hands for a fab and memorable cover design!

I will now be talking about Thou Shalt Sit The F*** Down excessively, and at some point will share photos of life to prove I do other things than just theatre 😂

But for now, shanti shanti namaste 🙏🏻

"Are you getting soppy on me?" Yes. Yes, I am.
Brace yourselfie for a long appreciation post.

We wrapped NAMASTE! by @bewryproductions last weekend after our two sold out @lambethfringe shows with fantastic audiences, and I feel so lucky to have been a part of this special play.

From the casting call that was perfectly suited for me to really wanting the job after the audition to getting to bring Micah to life in the room, I couldn't have imagined this kind of opportunity in my wildest dreams.
As actors we often have thoughts about the ideal role but I never considered someone may have actually written one for me!
@beneverettriley and @beaa.hyde did a tremendous job with the whole play and Micah was written with such heart, it was an honour to get to experience their character journey 🥰

Even more than the story itself, what made this 4 weeks (really, was it only that long) so memorable and enjoyable was the incredible team 💜 All my cast mates are so talented, hilarious and such lovely humans, so we clicked instantly!
Our amazing director @ryanghinds guided us with warmth and precision, and the energy in the room was always playful and relaxed.

@lillia_nabryan and @bobby_joynes_designs built us a gorgeous set, making Anusikha look like an established yoga studio one could walk into 🙏🏼

@tamara_amalie created a lovely, distinctive wardrobe for all characters, visualising their quirks (and let's be honest, I was simply wearing outfits I'd wear anyway) 💅🏼

@wenyu.yen made us all shine on stage, being our tech wizard extraordinaire 🪄

@alexturnscreative not only multiroled with us on stage (along with Bea and Ben) but also stage managed and made sure everything was in its place (including sometimes overenthusiastically chatty actors...) 📝

Special mention to my friend @mayo_molly without whom I wouldn't have known about this production, thank you for being my unofficial agent 😉

Oh and Muffin, the beautiful @goldengoosetheatre cat 😺

Keep your ears aligned for what happens next, but until then, ciaosies 💋

Because of this show, you can now find “German” as one of my dialects on Spotlight.

Because of this show, I’ll be seeing sheep in my nightmares.

Because of this show, I’ve met some wonderful people who have helped to make London feel a bit more like a place to call home.

NAMASTE! written by @bea.hadji and @beneverettriley , directed by @ryanghinds , and produced by @bewryproductions .

Thank you Bea, Ben, and Ryan for giving me the chance to be a part of this talented ensemble of actors.

Thank you to all my fellow actors and the crew who helped make this show a joy to be a part of. A sold out weekend at @goldengoosetheatre as part of the @lambethfringe is something to be proud of.

Here’s to the next time we can create art together again! “Hashtag Baamastebitches”
