Before the Next Act 💌

I don’t even know where to begin.

I’ve always had the idea to do something like this although consistently brought myself down to a level of self doubt, anxiety and judgement from others. I think I reached a stage where i began to not care, and once the work and auditions became minimal I took it into my own hands and gave myself and my beautiful friends the chance to shine their lights.

To my beautiful group of vocalists, THANK YOU for dealing with my delusions and backing me from the absolute get go + putting your heart and souls into this. Thank you to my killer accompanist @rowan.keyes for being the most patient with me and for jumping onboard so effortlessly. Dream team ⭐️

I want to say a MASSIVE thank you to @teatroitalianforum ( @nathanmarkwright + @andrewbevis ) for allowing me to use your wonderful venue and supporting me throughout the process. A huge thank you to the gorgeous @apart.photography for capturing the evening in all its glory.

I want to thank my gorgeous family and friends, everyone who bought a ticket, to those who came to watch, those who sent their support, and to those who gave me a reason to gain the strength to pour my heart out on a random Monday night.

Truly grateful.

September camera roll looking very STRONG 📸

No trending audio, no perfectly curated moments - just the real vibes of being part of our STRONG community. The laughs, the sweat, the milestones, the friendships and all the little moments in between.

Just us doing what we do best 🤍

We’re dusting off the repertoire book for one last encore 🎤💋

BEFORE THE NEXT ACT
A musical cabaret of songs from the back of the book.
__

Before I embark on the land of tea and scones, join myself and company as we dive into a night of our neglected musical numbers. Exploring repertoire inappropriate for the context of most audition rooms, we pay homage to the songs that not only shaped the performers we are today, but also encapsulate defining moments of our human experiences.
It’s a chance to honour, cry, laugh and reflect upon the ups and downs of our own lives, whilst I give one last farewell to the version of myself that called Sydney home.

Sit back, chuck your feet up and grab a beverage from the bar, as we bring you some iconic pieces from across the MT and Pop world in the beautiful Teatro Foyer!
