IT’S NOT ABOUT ME.

I had the absolute blessing to spend one week in the South Bronx, New York serving alongside a team of young high schoolers who have a heart for Jesus and a heart to share him with the next generation. The laughter, smiles, jokes, tears, and youth that I encountered only made me fall in love with Jesus and his word more. He asks that we have a childlike faith, trusting in him, and depending on him like a child to their father. What a privilege to learn more what that looks like from each and every kid I met. I am filled with gratitude and awe looking at all that God did in these kids hearts but also mine and the rest of our team. Praise God!

This week I had the most special opportunity ever to go to New york and spend the week running a kids camp at A House On Beekman! This week truly showed me how to find God in the uncertainty, and to keep a childlike faith . I got the privilege to meet so many special kids who brought so much joy to everyone no matter their situation. I will never forget their sweet smiles and laughter. So grateful for the amazing friends and relationships I built along the way! God is not finished with your story!

This past week was truly a blessing. The opportunity that I had to connect with and teach these children in the south Bronx was great. I was able to do this with an amazing group of people. I am grateful for what God has done with and will continue to do in not only my life, but each person I met during my time there. I want to give a huge thank you to “A House On Beekman” for hosting us this week, and another huge thanks to Preston Trail Community Church for accepting me on this mission trip and making this all possible.
