One more treat before we wrap things up, we welcome back eighty_K

eighty_K is best known for her bangin’ party breaks and gnarly basslines. With a solid appreciation for the classics, she also delves into house, dubstep and DnB, depending on the vibe.
eighty_K’s sets are always fun, energetic and engineered to put a smile on your (bass)face.

Expected flavour: Big, bassy and bangin’ 🔊🍭

Magical Dragon Dreaming 26 experienced with a bunch of baddies @cbrbassbabes 🩷💚

Going up against the headliners @clozeeofficial and @opiuo on the Fire Stage, I was surprised by how many people still came through for the Bass Babes takeover on the Earth Stage. Thanks to all the peeps who made it to the dancefloor and got down with us. 💃🏽 What a sick stage to perform on 🐉🔥

My mix is up on SoundCloud (🔗 in bio)
A baddie blend of Dancehall, Breaks, UK Funky & Bass, packed with tribal percussion, twerk, sexy rhythms and a little bit of attitude. Turn it up. 🍑

THIS FRIDAY AT CHINESE LAUNDRY 🧺

FRICTION FT. KID KENOBI - 30 YEARS [FULL VENUE TAKEOVER]

@frictionpresents celebrates a milestone of its own, marking 25 years of clubbing with a full venue takeover at Chinese Laundry. For this one, two anniversaries collide as Kid Kenobi joins the celebration for 30 years behind the decks - a night looking back at the music, dancefloors and communities that have kept both going for decades.

In the Laundry 💫
KID KENOBI - 30 YEARS
Three decades behind the decks, and it still comes back to the same thing: a love of the music.

@kidkenobi.official celebrates 30 years of DJing with a special three-hour set, reaching back to the sounds, records and energy of his earliest years behind the decks. He has a long history with Australian Dance Music, and of course here with us at Chinese Laundry!

For this anniversary set, Kid Kenobi is tapping back into that feeling - celebrating the music that started it all and the passion that’s kept him behind the decks 30 years later.

In the Cave ✨
London-born, Sydney-based DJ and producer @jessi.lowkey brings UKG, bassline, speed garage and old-school house to the Cave.

With releases on Garage Shared, a Beatport UKG Top 100 entry and support from BBC Radio 1Xtra and UKF, Jessi has quickly been building momentum on both sides of the globe. Her sets pair heavy low-end and UK-inspired grooves with the euphoric energy of ‘90s house - fast, bouncy and made for a packed room.

25 years of Friction. 30 years of Kid Kenobi. Still here for the same reason - good music and a full dancefloor.
