🏀 THE BLUEPRINT LAB 🧪

Athlete: Kate Haley | SG

Every great shooter starts with perfecting their shooting mechanics. This shooting skill warm-up focuses on building consistency from the hand placement to the footwork to the release.

✅ BLUEPRINT CHECKLIST

☑️ 1. HAND PLACEMENT
Use the wrap to reinforce precise hand placement and develop consistency in how the hands receive and position the basketball.

☑️ 2. RIGHT → LEFT MOVEMENT
Move the ball from right to left with control while staying connected to your feet. The goal is clean movement—not wasted motion.

☑️ 3. FOOTWORK + RHYTHM
Match the footwork to the hand movement. Build a consistent rhythm and timing pattern that allows the body to flow naturally into the shot.

☑️ 4. TIMING → RELEASE
Connect the movement, footwork, and hand placement into one fluid sequence—then finish with a clean, controlled jump-shot release and hold your follow-through.

Focus on quality reps, consistent shooting mechanics, and building a repeatable jump shot.
