My voice is resonate with the song of the Creator. I speak because I was spoken. I write because I was written. My name is written on his hands and the Word that became flesh has
my name on his lips. I’ve seen the burning bush, heard the whisper after the hurricane and had my heart of sorrow burn within me while speaking to the resurrected stranger. I can grow tall because my seed has fallen to the ground and died and I can walk forgiven because I’ve been lowered through the roof.
I speak peace with my presence because I’ve learned to eat my food in the presence of my enemy. How can I stay silent when my eyes have seen the beauty of God? My voice is a reflection of a thousand sunsets, the laughter of my children, the prayers of my parents. I am woven in to the hymn of history and I am inspired to sing. All my days have been written and healing flies on the melody of my song.

I am 3 months into my internship and I am rich.
Rich with laughter, and ice cream parties, and hard work.
Rich with learning, and beauty, and loaves of sourdough.
Rich with people, and rainy beach trips, and open space.
Thank you Jesus.

God desires everyday friendship with you. When you set apart moments to be with Him throughout your days, His heart is delighted!

In our expanded & revised Cultivate Volume 1, we have written “Shorts to Inspire Five Minute Moments” for the times when you have a few minutes of down time to connect with God.

_________________

Here is one of our shorts, “Winter Tree” by Kateland Case:

“When a tree has lost all its leaves and bares itself, you see its true form. This tree is stepping into winter, yet it stands tall and firm for what is about to come.

It knows that the summer brought great beauty with green foliage; and the fall brought great calming joy with its autumn colors bursting forth. Yet in winter, the tree will carry nothing to cover its branches. It’s entire form will be exposed. It may seem scary, but the tree knows it needs the winter because it brings growth inside the trunk and roots.

In the winter, no one can see the great growth that happens.

Take a moment and ask the Father what He is growing in you in this season that no one else can see but you and Him. Let it be a reminder for whatever season, that He knows all things happening within; and throughout it all, He is your consistent Friend.”

“Love has its speed. It is an inner speed. It is a spiritual speed… It is ‘slow’ yet it is lord over all other speeds since it is the speed of love.” -John Mark Comer #cagelessbirdsatthebeach @cagelessbirds 🌊

Dear summer of ‘22, Never have I met a summer like you. You haven’t left yet, but you are packing your things. You have left me with many gifts that I intend to treasure for many moons, and I am glad to have travelled with you this far.
If September is as kind and generous as you, I think we’ll get along just fine.
Kindly,
your friend Paul

P.S. please send chilly mornings 🙏🏻

I love these strong, amazing, beautiful women; I treasure our friendship. Thankful for so many women (incredible mothers!) in my life who will just go the distance for me and my family. I am honored to grow and live alongside you. “Gathered in the kindness of women—Womankind.” -Tess Guinery 💗kate_land_case @rosemary_kathleen #truemoms #galpals #fujixe4

Last week’s album recording was profound. One thing that I want to remember is the beauty and power of friendship. From the musicians, to the production team, to all the 18 Inch Journey alumni— connection and joy was our compass. Thank you for always fighting for relationship @jonathanhelser & @mphelser @cagelessbirds #newhelseralbum2021 #fujixe4
