The boys buried me in the sand, we had a 🧺 , swam in the 🌊 , had 🍦, found a 🪼 and played in the arcades…. Elliot won a @needohofficial in the 2p machines and he was so happy he started 🕺😂

EPIC FAIL comes to mind but we did get there in the end.

I suppose that’s what science experiments are about and after all we were trying to make exploding monsters 👹

What you need is……

Baking powder
Vinegar
Tissue
Clear sandwich bags.

Draw some monsters on the bag, add your vinegar, then add your baking powder and wait for the bag to explode

36°C everyone else was in linen and floaty dresses… and I still somehow committed to wearing trousers 😂 (to be fair they’re this super thin light material so I wasn’t too bad)

No regrets though! If you’re going to wander around Paris eating croissants you may as well do it in French themed pants 🇫🇷

Highlight of the evening: @katebowbow asking someone which goal we were shooting in and then shouting “why don’t they just try getting it in the net” 🤣

Heads were sore. Fun was had.

Golden hour swims, kids running wild and the kind of chaos you never want to end 🤍 (although I definitely had to sit in a dark silent room for a bit when we got back!)

We just spent a few days tucked away at @pudleston_court staying in the dreamy Rosehaven House which boasts 6 stunning bedrooms, a huge enclosed garden and a private pool that the kids basically claimed as their full time residence 🏊

We spent our time exploring the whimsical grounds, devouring local treats, gin tasting with @havendistillery & the kids were fully entertained with activities on the lawn & visiting the on site alpacas 🦙

We all said it was the best trip we’ve had in a long time and 10/10 would move in with @katebowbow permanently, although 5 wild boys of rather a lot😅
