Ponca Week 6! ⛰️🌸

First week as a counselor and these kids just blew my mind away. The way they worship and love Christ from such an early age is so incredible to see! Being able to talk with them each day and watch their relationship with Christ grow throughout the week was such a special thing. Thank you Jesus for such a glorious time in praising your name!

“Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”
-1 Corinthians 15:58

Ponca Bible Camp 2026🌄⛰️

Third and final year as a camper at Ponca Bible Camp. What a blessing it’s been to come here for the past three years and worship Christ! So many memories and friendships made at such a special place!

God put so many new friends in my life this week to which I can’t thank him enough. Very grateful to be in such a tight-knit cabin with a bunch of very loving, God-fearing women. A lot of what we talked about in Chapel this past week really hit home. How God gets our attention during the pain and how we can’t hide or run away from it. We have to embrace it and give it all to Jesus. How I will never be able to satisfy my own flesh and how the desires of the flesh go against the desires of the Spirit. How the only way to be free is by expressing my faith through love. How JESUS is Love! So many of these things have been struggles that God really brought to light this week. Feeling the Holy Spirit move through the words spoken during Chapel is a whole other feeling, that is impossible to describe. By far my favorite thing during camp was watching the Passion Play. You never really realize how much Christs resurrection means to you, until you watch it. Watching the Passion Play brought me so many emotions. Joy in watching the little children interact with Christ, shock at the betrayal of Judas, grief when Jesus was arrested, and brokenness when he was hung on that cross as an innocent man. But when Jesus rose on the third day, the joy and reality of everything he did for me truly hit. In addition, this feeling is felt while worshiping with those at camp who love the Lord just as much as I do. What a blessing it is to be surrounded by friends who know and love Jesus Christ.

“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.” Galatians 4:16-18
