Hi Everyone, it's Rachel, and I'd like to ask you to join me in wishing Kate Lydon a huge congratulations on her retirement! After her 35 year career with Contemporary Craft, today is Kate's last day. She has become an esteemed and revered curator over the years, and certainly a trusted colleague. With her retirement, Kate leaves behind an indelible legacy - she has shaped the aesthetic of our organization, trained emerging administrators, and connected Pittsburgh to the field of craft. We're going to miss seeing her everyday, that is for sure!

There’s a lot of work that happens behind the scenes to get an exhibition into place, and to deconstruct it. Today as Food Justice is coming down, we’re feeling lots of appreciation for Kate Lydon and Kate Dockery, who have worked tirelessly on this project; along with longstanding volunteer, Tammy Schweinhagen.
