POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The Canyon Civic Institute had the privilege of visiting Washington D.C. this past week! The fellows had the opportunity to tour the Capitol, the Museum of the Bible, and the US Department of Agriculture. The CCI fellows also met with GCU’s lobbying firm, Arnold & Porter, had dinner with GCU alumni, and explored the nations capital!

Big thanks to Congressman @abrahamhamadeh and Congressman @andybiggsaz and their staff for meeting with our fellows and giving advice for pursuing a career in civics.

Another special thanks to the friends and family of the Canyon Civic Institute who made this trip possible!

2025 was the most eventful year yet!! I sang in my first musical, played some great music with @the_basement_boys_official, got my wisdom teeth taken out, ran my first 12k, somehow graduated, helped lead a group of middle schoolers, climbed a mountain or two with some great people, went to college, met an amazing girl, went to Disneyland, and ended the year with friends and family. I don’t think I could have asked for more. Can’t wait to see what surprises 2026 will bring.
