words cannot describe how i am feeling after this past week and the closing of @primordiashow

a show that was a year in the making, bringing together 15 choreographers creating one choreographic vision, produced, technically directed, stage managed, lighting designed, costume designed, and sound technicianed by TMU performance students.

designing the show from scratch was an immersive, collaborative experience that was so creatively enriching. we transformed a space that never sees dance into one that respirated with the bodies that moved within it.

huge thank you to @slowdanger__ for allowing us to create to your wonderful sounds! to all of our donors and supporters, and to the three SOLD OUT audiences we had the pleasure of sharing this work with, thank you for caring, and uplifting emerging artists in this industry.

to my 14 beautiful classmates, you have formed me. thank you for trusting, supporting, and laughing with me for these past 4 years. strangely, it doesn’t feel like the end because i know we will dance and create together on stages again soon, but until then, i cannot wait to be the loudest person in the audience cheering you all on! we are at time 🩶

this was my first time working as an Artistic Producer, and I have learned so much about the practice, and about myself throughout the process. i would like to say a huge thank you to every. single. creative. involved in making this possible:

Moments from @primordiashow closing night 🥹

My journey with the best 14 artists has come to an end (for now 👀). @primordiashow was truly one of a kind. It was my first experience as a marketing producer and a choreographer in collaboration with 14 other artists in our unique way. That is something I will hold with me for the rest of my career. I could not have done it without the support, care and pure inspiration all 14 of you have given me over these last 4 years.

To my beautiful family:

Thank you for always being there. You have never missed a show in my entire life and that is something I don’t take for granted. My wonderful mother who guided me through this journey from the moment I first stepped into a studio, to now graduating and finding myself as an artist… I owe it all to you ❤️

I have a million more thanks to give but I will leave it there. Thank you to everyone who came to @primordiashow 🤎
