Wow… I can’t believe my summer is almost over. Adulting is so hard 😭

I’ve met some of the coolest nerds I’ve ever known, and living with such down to earth, genuine people has reminded me that life really is what you make it. Kindness truly is contagious.

I’m so sad I have to leave the Smokies in August because, honestly, this place feels like where I’m meant to be. I genuinely can’t think of a single person I’ve met down here who has had ill intentions toward anyone, and that’s something really special.

I’m so grateful for every memory, every friendship, and everything this summer has taught me. I can’t wait to see what comes next. ❤️

A whole year crammed into one post with no context for anything✨

These past few weeks have been full of a lot of lasts. My last time opening the barn. My last time driving up the mountain. The last time I hung up my harness. My last TN snow. My last, delicious slop box from Trish’s. But the ‘almost’ 8 years I’ve spent in Southeast TN have been overflowing with firsts. I’ve never been great about taking and saving photos, but the memories will last a lifetime. To everyone that played a part in making some of the best years of my life, thank you. I love you all!

I don’t know what’s more full after this summer my heart or my camera roll🫶

This summer will forever hold a special place in my heart. My heart is full, my camera roll is packed, and my soul feels lighter because of the memories made and the people I shared them with. What started as just a summer job on a zipline turned into something so much more, lifelong friendships, unforgettable adventures, and countless moments of laughter and growth. Who would’ve thought that a cable tied to a pole could lead me to some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met? Life beyond the harness and helmet was just as magical.

I’ve walked away with more than just memories, I’ve found a second family. The friendships I made are real, deep, and lasting. From early mornings to late-night laughs, every moment felt like something out of a dream. Life outside of work was filled with spontaneous adventures, campfires, road trips, and conversations I’ll carry with me forever.

It wasn’t all smooth sailing, an unexpected hospital trip and emergency surgery threw a major curveball into the mix. It was scary and far from what I’d planned… but it didn’t hold me back. If anything, it reminded me how strong I am, how loved I am, and how powerful community can be. I bounced back more thankful and determined to soak up every second.

This summer changed me. It taught me resilience, joy, gratitude, and who I truly am. I’m leaving this season with a full heart and a new understanding of what it means to truly live in the moment.

Here’s to the people, the places, the laughter, the healing, and the zipline that started it all. This summer was everything I didn’t know I needed and more. 💛🌄🌿
