So many new faces here, it feels like time to reintroduce myself. I am Audra Kiewiet de Jonge, an art and antiques dealer and sometime decorator for very special projects.

I founded Art/artefact three years ago to bring my extensive knowledge of the art world and art history into conversation with my passion for historical objects and the way we live with them.

I felt like the art world silos art and artists from the things of beauty and utility that we furnish our lives with. And I think the best way to live with art is integrated into our daily lives, inviting a lively, humanist conversation about how we make our mark and the joys of collecting.

When sourcing art and antiques and decorating for clients, I am guided by an intuitive process and passion for collecting that engages art and objects in a lively dialogue designed to invite our clients to be passionate learners and live well with their collections.

Drawing on a wealth of knowledge about historical to modern interiors, our comfortable, layered spaces blend styles, media, and eras to feel intimate, culturally evolved, and deeply personal.

I love designing spaces for all different types of clients. This client loves a statement making room and incorporating meaningful art. We had the talented @layercakeny create a piece that represented each member in the family. We paired it with a statement making table, sculptural lighting, and bold allpaper for a room that is dripping in personality.
