📮Love Notes

📍Kenmure Country Club, Flat Rock, NC

💌 This bride had the most special idea to surprise her groom and preserve their wedding memories! Guest portraits- turned guest book! Each guest portrait reflected the stunning outfits and fun-filled personalities of the Staffords’ friends and families on the front, while the back held hand-written notes from the guests pictured for the newlyweds to treasure forever!

🖌️I also had the pleasure of painting some watercolor illustrations for their wedding stationery, captured by @truefoundationphotography

🌹I will truly treasure this wedding forever and would LOVE to chat if this sounds like a fit for your wedding!!

A reaction that deserved its own spot in the feed 😆

Take this as your sign… book the guest portraits, because this is what happens when your guests recognize themselves 👀💕

This weekend I had the honor of being a surprise gift from the bride!!

When I talked to Kate a few months ago, she asked me about doing guest portraits as their guest book and I LOVED it! It was so sweet getting to watch all of their loved ones write notes to the bride & groom and check back throughout the night to take photos of their painted additions to the guest book!

So if you need some non-traditional guest book inspiration, or an excuse to book a live painter… I would 1000% do this again!!!

📹 I also want to give the BIGGEST thank you to @wed.withgrace for capturing this moment!! Go check her out!!

Devin and Kate said “I Do” at the beautiful @events.at.kenmure surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains and their guest who had traveled from far distances to celebrate their day! We loved welcoming their amazing wedding party into our @theeliorastudio to finish getting ready and for a few portraits! We are so excited to share more soon!
