The superyacht industry is as good as it looks.

Superyachts, insane locations, champagne flowing, high-end guests, toys, tenders and a crew around you that’s sharp, switched on, and operating at a high level.

It’s fast, it’s full on, and the standard is high.

Junior crew are starting on €2,700 – €3,000 a month… with most expenses covered.
So yeah — when you actually break it down, you’re in a position to get ahead pretty quickly.

(And that’s before tips.)

But earning it is one thing.
Knowing how to manage it properly — that’s where people either make the most of this industry, or waste the opportunity.

That’s something we take seriously.

At the New Zealand Superyacht Academy, we don’t just prepare you to get into the industry — we also teach you how to manage your superyacht salary, so you actually keep what you earn and use it to set yourself up.

Because if you’re going to do this, you want to do it properly. While enjoying the view!

If you’ve been looking for something different from the 9–5 — this is it.

Working on superyachts is awesome!
