Through early mornings, long days, laughs, cries, and many tissue boxes I find myself endlessly grateful for each and every one of these humans. It wasn’t a matter of time passed that made us so close; it was the genuine space, vulnerability, and trust we created for each other that made such special connections.

I hope a piece of me finds each and every one of you in this life and the next. ❤️

Hi and Hello! We wanted to introduce ourselves on this account (even though you may already know one or all of us). Just in case, we wanted to introduce BKM (Bretton, Kate, Michaela), and our beautiful project called Kinship.

Michaela first met Kate 10+ years ago when she started her yoga journey and low key followed her around from Yoga Santosha to @junction9. Their friendship began when she started coming back to class regularly and demanding Kate's famed head massages at the end of class. Bretton and Michaela met serendipitously when Bretton and Penny became Michaela's client 4.5 years ago and they hit it off as friends most of all. Fast forward to yoga classes in 2023 and the three of them realized they had a love for yoga and overall personal wellness. They also realized they were obsessed with good food (@Concordegroup we're looking at you), and knew that had to be important in each event they put together.

We created Kinship in the Fall of last year where we saw a gap in the market around events creating communities that didn't have space or a platform to connect yet. Our events are unique to each other, so while our first event is geared towards general wellness, movement and self-love, our next event could be about celebrating new moms or welcoming in the New Moon. Each event is unique which means each community that comes together is unique, so not every event may be for you. But we'd love if you shared them with family and friends, because you never know when someone is looking to find another friend with similar interests.

We'll introduce ourselves more thoroughly in the next couple of weeks, and we look forward to meeting you this year! ✴
