since I’m going to be up in the air for quite some time I’d like to inform you guys about this amazing documentary called ‘BEHIND THE LABEL’ ! Check it out in YouTube and feel your clothes start to itch. I know that a lot of my friends and followers on this community are engaged and interested in taking action against climate change - together we can do that by becoming more informed about what we wear, who made our clothes, and what we can do to create a more sustainable and equal fashion industry.

Fashion industries are responsible for 20% of water pollution worldwide. It was wonderful to host #fashionforwater with Europes most progressive experts for water conservation, consumer education, manufacturing management and active climate advocacy in Berlin on #worldwaterday #resposiblefashion #ethicalfashion #sustainablefashion #savewater #savetheplanet #becausethereisnoplanetb #consciousnessshift #berlin

FILM SCREENING: Painting Cape Town (JHB Premiere)
After reading Matthew Olckers’ book, #PaintingCapeTown, writer/director Katey Carson became intrigued by a movement that was all around the city. A movement that claims the streets and yet, a movement in which the artists remain hidden behind the names that they take on. Frustrated by the lack of information on the #graffiti scene in #CapeTown, Katey went in search of the #writers themselves, and with Matthew’s help she was able to secure interviews with some of Cape Town’s most renowned #graffitiwriters. #PaintingCapeTownFilm is the result of these interviews put together by a young and dynamic team of filmmakers to form a 22-minute #documentary.
Directed by: Katey Carson / Documentary / 22min 54s **Tickets available at the door. The film will be screened throughout the day** Purchase other tickets: @thebioscope
