One year ago today we were jumping up and down screaming in my bathroom 🥹🥹🥹 here’s how it went down…
We went to dinner and I suspected I MIGHT be pregnant, I had taken a test but my body works like clockwork and let’s just say the clock was…off. At dinner I told our waitress subtly that I was going to order whatever Katherine ordered to drink just to make mine a mocktail because I think I’m pregnant and when she brings them out to not say anything. Our server was soooo sweet and yes omg yes no problem. Well… a runner brings our drinks, not the server, and announces “UM ONES A MOCKTAIL?” … Katherine looks at me and immediately knows what’s up. Colt was still out of state and on our drive home I tell her I think I might be pregnant I haven’t taken a test BUT I have one at the house. At first I was going to do it alone and have Colt be the first one I tell but then the anticipation was killing us so I went ahead and did it and I am SO GLAD she was there 🥹 it’s a memory neither of us will ever forget. Thank you Jesus for friends like KJ, for this baby and sorry for all the oh my Gods and cussing… I was a tad overstimulated 😅😂 love you forever @katherineefaith

They might only be in our house for a short time but we will always be auntie and uncle and there for them forever ❤️

I feel soooo lucky that all our foster dogs so far literally have the best best best parents. Getting updates and seeing their lives is really what helps you be able to carry on and save another dog!!

If you’re an emotional person like me, trust me you can still foster!! If you want go volunteer for the same rescue I do check out @westernaussierescue or find a rescue near you! 💫
