Sappy post alert! Sitting at the airport with such a full heart and huge love for the people of SJD who are family to me. I’ve had the privilege of leading worship with some of these teens and young adults for seven straight years and have watched them grow into beautiful men and women on their pursuit of Jesus. The teamwork with Deanna, Dawayne, Zach and the fab band guys, and Angela brings an indescribable joy. I only wish we could work together more than five days a year! So many wonderful families, staff members, and friends that I can’t wait to hug again in 360 days! God is writing a beautiful story with this church, and I’m so grateful to get to be a small part of it. Until next time, beloved Htown. #bigtopwontstop

So ready to get home to my family, but I’m simultaneously leaving a massive piece of my heart here at this beautiful church with these amazing friends. Six straight years of one of my favorite ministry partnerships EVER. Watching these middle and high school leaders grow into amazing men and women of God has been such a profound joy for me. Taking sweet annual pics with precious families, hearing kids sing my songs at the top of their lungs, and seeing the Kingdom expand as these kids learn and grow makes this week one of the highlights of my year. Thank you, @sjd_houston for allowing me to partner with you. We are #BetterTogether, and I LOVE y’all!
