A small contribution to a beautiful journey at Katha Pictures.

Working with Kanika Dhillon Ma'am has been a great learning experience. From assisting her to being a part of the work behind the scenes, I’ve learned a lot throughout this journey.

I truly admire the way she looks at women and their characters on screen. At a time when many films are still centred around male characters, with women often limited to supporting roles or being there just for the sake of the story, Kanika Ma’am has always created stories where women have a strong and central presence.

Seeing her work closely made me realise that women can be portrayed on screen with so much more depth, strength and importance. I’m grateful to have experienced and learned from that perspective during my time with her.

🔥 @taapsee is FIRE — but the film falls short.

Taapsee delivers a fiery, committed performance, while the gritty setup, fast pacing and punchy action keep things entertaining. 💥

But chaotic writing, illogical twists and excessive melodrama weaken the impact. The emotional stakes feel forced, making this promising revenge thriller increasingly disjointed and predictable by the climax.

⭐ Verdict: Promising, but flawed.

Would you watch it for Taapsee? 👀

Taapsee Pannu's Gandhari on Netflix is an absolute emotional powerhouse hidden inside a high-octane action thriller.🎬🙌🏻

While the intense fight choreography keeps you on the edge of your seat, the real beating heart of this film is the raw, fierce instinct of motherhood. This specific reunion scene beautifully highlights the core theme: 'When it comes to protecting her child, a mother becomes the ultimate warrior.' 🤰♥️

The track "bitiyaa" in the background just completely elevates the emotional weight of this moment.
