#wairwebelong 🤩
The feeling of flying almost exactly above your city of birth in 4000ft during a perfectly clear night: priceless 🙏😁
About one month ago, I was approaching @dusairport as pilot flying. That evening, traffic was quite dense, so we had to fly almost the entire transition*. This let us fly over a major part of the Ruhr Area where I have grown up, studied and worked until I could begin my pilot training. Our final turn towards the runway even was exactly above #Bochum Central Train Station which is only 10km from Herne - my city of birth.
Wow! I spent so many hours looking up to all the planes approaching Dusseldorf airport, whishing to fly one of these one time... Well: dreams actually come true sometimes! 🤩🤙 So #thankful🙏 for that!

Stay healthy, stay safe and #stayhome. All the best and always: Happy landings,
Lukas ✌️
*transition: it's a specific route for planes so that air traffic control can separate the traffic accordingly. 😉
