Versions of Us.

a part of @chapters2025

This piece meant so much to me.
The artists that gave it breath and life mean so much to me.
Thank you for making it real, and making it yours as much as it is mine.
I am so happy it is now ours.

How can we reflect on all of the lives we have lived and people we have been?
Our memories visit us for reasons, which may always remain unknown to us.

How can we be compassionate to the person we were yesterday, who we may not recognize today. Somewhere, that person is still within us, and is deserving of care.

To grow as people is to move forward. To embrace the people we have been, knowing that changing the past is beyond our control.

To accept that learning from ourselves allows us to begin discovering the unknown versions of us that we will someday come to know.

Chapters, 2025.
I’m grateful to have been able to produce, and dance in, this show. I learned so much about myself, my abilities, and got a chance to explore responsibilities on the other side of the stage. I’m eternally grateful to everyone who was actively involved in Chapters, and everyone in my personal life for being so supportive throughout long days. Thank you to my fellow producers and to each choreographer that asked me to be in their work! Be so proud of yourselves 💐💕
