January highlights: Howzit, bunk beds, flights, sporadic hashbrowns, church launch, discipleship, new and old friends!

This summer I photographed one of my favorite weddings yet. Katie and Grant’s day was simple, intentional, and wholly theirs—not overproduced, not about trends, but about covenant. It didn’t feel like the over-commercialized version of weddings we so often see here in Texas; instead, it was authentic, unique to them, and exactly what I love to capture.

KATIE & GRANT ARE MARRIED!

It was relaxed, true to them, and done their own way. That’s exactly how I think a wedding should feel. You don’t have to overcomplicate it or stress over every little detail. Just enjoy the day, enjoy each other, and soak up the time with your family and friends. The real moments matter so much more than posed perfection and wedding trends.
