The first year of the Oregon Series! I have this series to thank for many things:

1– Pushing me to start playing FPO! The Santiam Open only offered FA1 and FPO to women so I decided to play FPO to encourage some FA2 ladies to sign up in FA1. I found out afterward that this was the first event of a series! I decided to stick with that division for all 6 of the events that I played to challenge myself!

2– How to be patient with my growth as a player. Playing FPO made me feel like I was in a little over my head. I had to remind myself that even though I was often dozens of strokes behind my cardmates, I was making improvements and playing above my rating most of the time!

3– Playing a lot of difficult golf can be EXHAUSTING, especially when it rains. But the struggles you face with amazing people who are there for the same reasons builds incredible friendships!

I played in 6 of the 10 event and took 3rd in a division I didn’t think I belonged in! Thank you to @resistancediscs for organizing this series and to all the TDs who put on the events!

Until next year…👋❤️🥏

@pdga_wge 2022 was everything I hoped for and more!

First of all big thank you to @madison_discgolf and @jamiepete_discgolf for running an incredible event!

I was so stoked to play on a dream card with the boss ladies and @zoeandyke ! We had a blast! I wish I got more photos of all my friends out there today but I was too busy giving hugs 😊

I finished 6th in FPO and shot above my rating both rounds 📈 Just trying to keep up with these ladies out here crushing it in the PNW!

Oregon disc golf hits different.
The courses here are so beautiful and tricky.
I was happy Katie came to play with me. It’s hard to get large divisions in FPO out here.
I threw great drives all weekend but couldn’t convert with the putting. But I had so much fun and I’ll take this win and that as another win!

Sometimes you just gotta okay a tournament because you love the course!

Santiam Open was a blast today! I met some amazing FPO ladies and they really made me feel welcome in this challenging division ☺️

I did not play my best but I did shoot above my rating and tied for 6th (last) place… meaning I didn’t get crushed! 😂😂😂

Thank you @withers_discgolf and @resistancediscs for an awesome event! I’ll be back to try again next year 🙌🏻

Shoutout to @madison_discgolf for absolutely crushing today and to @joann_partridge_ #1 caddy 😉
