For the first time ever, @bayloruniversity students have been published in the prestigious @logolounge book 15—a global showcase of the best logo designs curated by top industry experts. This year’s jury panel was chaired by Paula Scher from Pentagram, New York. This milestone puts our students alongside leading international design firms and creative minds from 68 countries. A very proud moment for the Department of Art & Art History, our graphic design professors, and of course our talented and beloved students: Abigail Sanders, Katherine Bedewi, and Brooke Sockwell! 💚🐻 #sicembears #logoloungebook15

Out of 30,000+ submissions from around the world, Katherine Bedewei’s logo was selected by this year’s panel of industry-leading judges, including Paula Scher, Jacob Cass, Scott Fuller, Katie and Ilana, Jeremy Slagle, Jack Chitty, Gustavo Dao, Bill Kenney, Cat How, and Markus Daum, for inclusion in the next volume of LogoLounge. This is the first time for @bayloruniversity graphic design students to get published in LogoLounge, but it won’t be the last! Thank you, Bill @grilledbran and @logolounge team, for such a great honor. baylorart_arthistory @baylorarts_sciences #logolounge #logo #identity #design

Today, we had a Packaging and UI/UX classes field trip to @magnolia. Our last semester activity was to have insightful conversations about branding experience, packaging design, storytelling, and, yes, an excuse to spend time with my students outside of class. Teaching what I love and loving what I teach. #branding #packagingdesign #userexperience #productdesign #cupcakes

Day 2 at the @nationalstudentshow was full of excitement and learning opportunities. Our students had an amazing time during the breaking sessions; some even got free Fossil watches while learning about in-house design teams. They got the opportunity to hear from seasoned and global designers and the highlight was the announcement of Special Awards. CJ Kaltwasser is bringing home a Judge’s Choice, Best Concept, Best of Advertisement (product), and Best of Advertisement (print). WHAT A NIGHT! SIC ‘EM BEARS! @nationalstudentshow @baylor_gdsa @baylorart_arthistory loo
