halloweentown fall festival 🎃

a few weekends ago my mom flew here for my dance show so her, her fiancé, jac, and i went to the iconic @shoplostandbound for their fall festival!! i wish i got more pictures, but there were a bunch of vendors, from local authors and artists to homemade bakeries and banners!!🍪🎨

it was an amazing, spooky, fun-filled saturday morning🥰🍂we were one of the first couple people in the store too so we got a free goodie bag and book so it started my last show day off with a bang!🤩remember to shop and support local everyone😘

hope everyone’s having a fun and spooky month so far! 🥰 i can’t wait to show you all jac and i’s halloween costume🤭

Wedding / Honeymoon Edition💍

a few weeks ago Jac and I flew to Mexico for their sister’s wedding, and it was absolutely incredible🤩we stayed at our first adults-only all-inclusive resort (& probably for the last time lol) and it was every bit as dreamy and romantic as I’d imagined! Just like this book, My Best Friend’s Honeymoon by Meryl Wilsner🩷it has everything you want in a romance book: a lush, romantic setting, friends to lovers, character development, super spicy scenes, and (for me personally) plus-size non-binary lesbian rep!!🤲

I highly recommend you just go for it, take the trip, tell the one you love how you feel, do all the things you’ve dreamed of… we have one life and while saving money is smart, it’ll come and go but the memories won’t🫶

september reads🍁

wow what a month!! Jac and I finally went on our original honeymoon this past month and it was magical! I brought The Song of Achilles with me since we went to Athens, while also reading Iron Flame on kindle and listening to Bloom Town Exodus in Santorini and Mykonos, Greece and Split, Croatia🗺️

we also got lucky enough to catch our first viewings of Michael & 9 to 5 on our cruise ship which was awesome, and I loved The Love Hypothesis!! I thought they did a great job with it (even tho my favorite part wasn’t in it #iykyk) 🙂‍↕️

Somehow almost 20 million people saw me finish Onyx Storm across Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok… so there’s that 😵‍💫 which somehow led to me getting one of my dream jobs: working at a bookstore! 🥹 I can’t express how excited I am, you all should stop by @shoplostandbound on Fridays (and other days of the week depending lol) for a sparkly soda and book rec from yours truly 🩷

I also just came out of a sold out show week… so yeah, it’s been a fantastic month🥰

Kt’s Roaming Reads Pt 30🏛️
Achilles in Acropolis Edition

surprise!! I’m in Greece🇬🇷🤭Jac and I are on our honeymoon cruise to Italy, Greece, and Croatia… so if I’ve been MIA on here that’s why😅we’ve been having an amazing time, and today we are in Athens where we visited Acropolis and it’s gorgeous! We’re on the bus back to the boat now and headed to Split, Croatia next! (exciting for my fellow GoT fans!)

I’m currently halfway through The Song of Achilles and I gotta tell ya… it’s devastating… so well-written and immersive, but wow if you already know the story this thing is like doomed lovers 101, I go from kicking my feet to being sad and full of dread for my lil gays’ futures🤲if you’re a fan of greek mythology, this is an outstanding queer read (so far at least)!

do you have a favorite mythology retelling (doesn’t have to be greek!)??
or, what’s a bucket list destination or activity for you? :)
