I wish we could all just love each other as we do at the World Cup. The world would be a much better place to be. The beautiful game always delivers.

FIFTEEN YEARS.

Wild to think it’s been that long since I could walk and run freely, play any sport I wanted, and simply not worry about every step I had to take. But it’s even more incredible how much I’ve been able to accomplish and the amazing experiences and people I’ve encountered in the last 15 years. I don’t even think about what life was like pre injury any more because my life is completely full.

Thank you to everyone that has supported me, pushed me, trained me, challenged me, and loved me to be who I am today. And thank you to all those that doubted me as well… without you, I wouldn’t have anyone to prove wrong.

I am so thankful for the community of friends and family I have in my corner that choose adventures that look a little different over no adventures at all. ♥️

If I can leave you with a few lessons I’ve learned in the last 15 years:
* Be brave
* Choose hard
* Take the adventure even if it looks a little different or takes a little longer.
* Be proud of what you’ve achieved - Sometimes the one thing you’d change about yourself is the one thing that makes you most proud.
* Everyone needs some help sometimes
* Dance like no one’s watching
* There are such things as handicap conveniences - use them
* Self deprecating humor about your disability makes a lot of people uncomfortable but it’s the best kind of humor.
* Toss the baby carriage when a parent tries to cut you off with it in the handicap line
* Stop with the excuses - no one wants to hear them - no one has a use for them.
* Trust your people
* There’s no such thing as impossible.
* Adapt and overcome

Cheers to 15 years and the memories made along the way and here’s to another 15 years of a life well lived!

To say I’m proud would be an incredible understatement 🫶 Congrats to our @gainbridgesuperleague team behind the teams. The 2026 Final in Lexington was fantastic thanks to this crew! Plus the club front offices (Lex wow you crushed it), game day staff, broadcasters, media, fans, and of course the players, coaches and technical teams. Thank you all for the effort and professionalism that went into every detail of this match.
