how can i keep from singing? 🎶💐

i am so beyond thankful for this program. getting the privilege to sing with my best friends every day has without a doubt been my favorite part of high school. because of this program, i have grown exponentially both as a singer and a person. i will cherish the memories and friends i have made here forever. i’m so happy to be apart of such a close knit group who truly feels like a second family. i am so grateful for the opportunities i have been given and i would not trade any of this for anything.

a huge huge thank you to second period for welcoming me as your TA. i am so appreciative of how kind and welcoming you have been towards me since day 1. i am so proud of your growth this year and i’m excited for the rest of this last quarter together!! i love each and every one of you so much and am so happy i get to be in class with you.

four years later 🌼

what a joy it’s been to sing and create music with the people i love so dearly. my brain truly cannot comprehend how quickly these four years of high-school have gone by. these years have brought me lifelong friendships and memories i’ll carry for a lifetime. this class has shown me the lowest lows and the highest highs. i haven’t spent a single day of high-school without chorus, and i wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

this class has pushed me far beyond my comfort zone and truly shaped the person i am today. the girls that have stood by my side for these last four years are some of the kindest, most hardworking and talented people i know. what a privilege it is to sing alongside people who have so much passion and love for music. it’s even a greater privilege to learn from a teacher who pours so much love and care into her students and always pushes us to our limits even when it’s so so hard. thank you to all i’ve sang with over the years. thank you to apex choir for everything. 🤍
