Three guides. One golden day of fishing on the Snake River. 🍂

Sloane Bergien, Maddie Dittbrender, and Katie Finnegan are some of the best on the water in Jackson Hole, and they’re building careers on the river.

Girls Day Out is our behind-the-scenes companion to Guardians of the Snake, an official 2026 @flyfishingfilmtour selection. It’s full of real laughter, real camaraderie, and a reminder of why this river is worth guarding.

WATCH 🎥: Guardians of the Snake

A 2026 Official @flyfishingfilmtour Selection 🎬, now on YouTube.

This film is an intimate portrait of the Jackson Hole guide community, told through the voices of rookies, veterans, and the mentors who shaped them. What begins with a
guide’s season of failures unfolds into a celebration of resilience, craftsmanship, and the hidden
labor behind every day on the water. As the film follows guides through their early-morning
rigging rituals, on-river teaching moments, and reflections on legacy, it reveals how guiding
becomes more than a profession, it becomes identity, family, and a frontline force for
conservation. Rooted in passion and passed down through generations, these guides stand as
stewards of the Snake River, committed to preserving its wild spirit for those yet to come.
