whenever tip #5
still not over my barcelona era. it was the time I felt the most like a woman. simple as that.
I cooked, worked, studied, danced on the tube, styled myself into cute little outfits and thought thoughts I’d never thought before. I did the laundry many MANY times. I was also incredibly tired. like, genuinely running on fumes most of the time.
but I did everything I wanted to do. all of it. I found my most creative self and learned how to believe in myself — that’s on being a woman.
there’s this thing about being a woman-octopus — arms everywhere, holding everything at once — and for 4 months I leaned all the way into that. I overdid myself on purpose and honestly I still can’t believe I pulled it off. so thankful for the incredible women that visited me through it all.
happy women’s day to every woman-octopus out there — this one’s for you.
