POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last night, our MD Lesley and Head Booker Kelly went along to the Tits Up UK tour to support our lovely model Katie, who is part of the production! 🩷

As it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it’s a lovely reminder of the importance of raising awareness and supporting those affected by breast cancer. 🎗️

Tits Up is a powerful, funny and moving play following four women brought together by breast cancer. Through fear, friendship, treatment and everything in between, it explores the realities of cancer while celebrating resilience, hope and the power of laughter.

Written by Alison Stanley and Leah Bell, and starring Alison Stanley, Leah Bell, Crissy Rock and Katie Potts, it’s an honest, heartfelt story that will make you laugh, cry and leave feeling uplifted.

A brilliant production shining a light on such an important cause💗

Well done the the ladies and @brokeandknackered for smashing it out the park on there first week on tour! 🙌🏼 BIG THINGS COMING! As filming just finished for Tits up the Film! 👀 they have over 20 tour dates left all around the country! Check the link in my bio to get your tickets now! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Four women. One journey. Plenty to complain about. 😂🚗

We’re on our way to Langholm for tonight’s Tits Up show, and we asked the ladies and of course JJ to name ONE thing they dislike…

Turns out we could’ve filled the journey with a whole list. 🤣

Buccleuch Centre, are you ready for us? We’re bringing the laughs and leaving our complaints in the car. Probably. 👀

What’s the one thing that gets on YOUR nerves? 👇#theatre #breastcancerawareness #titsuptour

💗 Massive thank you to Alison Stanley and the whole Tits Up team for supporting Live Well with Cancer 💗

When Alison first came along to our Breast Cancer Support Group while she was writing Tits Up, none of us could have known where that conversation would lead.

The ladies in our group shared their own experiences, stories, frustrations, funny moments and some of the things that only someone who has actually lived through breast cancer can really understand.

We were so pleased to be able to help Alison in that small way, and it meant a lot to us that she wanted to hear directly from women in our community.

So to see the show now touring, and then to have Alison and the team decide to do not one, but TWO bucket collections for Live Well with Cancer at the performances in South Shields and Bellingham… well, it genuinely means so much. Raising nearly £1,000, with online donations coming in too, is amazing👏

That’s an incredible amount of money for a small local charity like ours. Every penny will go straight back into our community, helping us continue to provide free one-to-one support, counselling, complementary therapies, movement classes, support groups, creative activities and so much more for people affected by cancer.

But honestly, it’s not just the money. It’s the fact that you remembered us. That you wanted to give something back. And that something which started with a group of women simply sharing their experiences has come full circle in such a lovely way. 💗

Alison, the cast and the whole Tits Up team — thank you. From the bottom of our hearts.

We feel very lucky to have crossed paths with you, and we’re so proud that our little Breast Cancer Support Group was able to play even the tiniest part in the Tits Up story.

And to everyone who put money in those buckets — thank you too. You’ve helped turn a brilliant night at the theatre into real support for people living with cancer in our community. 💙

That’s pretty special. 🥰
