Today I went to the joyful wedding of Ben Olsen and Thomas Hansen. Ben is a good friend, an incredible art teacher at PG Junior High and is also on our Alpine District Visual Art Leadership Team. I had a great day hanging out with my art friends as well as a camping buddy @cvanwag. The wedding was at Alta ski resort so the views were amazing, as was the food, the cake, the music, and the company. I am so happy for Ben and Thomas.

A few things we did this summer. More than anything, I love being with my family. I am truly blessed to have amazing family and friends. We love going to Hale Theatre and going out to celebrate birthdays. Going to Craters of the Moon for Hunter & Abbey’s engagement photos was an adventure. I also got to help them assemble some furniture for their new apartment.

THANK YOU! I’ve been overwhelmed today with the kind notes, gifts on my doorstep, texts and birthday messages. What a celebration! It’s a shame birthdays only come once a year. 😉Thank you to family and friends near and far who helped me feel loved. Last year was a very good year. I rediscovered my health, reconciled an important friendship, and after years of David commuting from St George to South Jordan, my family was finally all under one roof! I expect great things for this year, too. Cheers to 42 more great ones. #birthdays
