I just love this little wallet I found at Goodwill. It may not be the real “brand” but that kind of thing has never bothered me! I grew up with very little money, and my mom always thrifted with us. We never had the brand name stuff unless it was given to us or found at the thrift store. As a child I remember it did bother me, however it was only because the other kids teased us about it. It wasn’t the fact I had used stuff, it was the teasing and the perception, and the feelings they sparked inside of me that was the real challenge. As an adult my perception is soo totally different! I now look at each clothing item and piece of jewelry etc as its own piece of art, made, worn and experienced with a life of its own. It’s so fun to feel the energy and excitement that each piece brings, along with the inspiration I feel when I find a new piece to style. The thought of new vs. old or cheap vs. expensive, popular or not....these types of thoughts don’t even occur to me any more. I’m now fully detached from the Materialism. Instead I’m full of inspiration, creativity, and gratitude. I’m fully enjoying the “feelings” of creativity and pure joy that come when I am creating with fashion and all things that light me up! This is where the PURE Pleasure lies friends! I’ll be sharing all my thrifty finds and inspiration here on my page to show you that it’s possible to have it all, and enjoy it all, and for less money!

Every time I look out the window I’m hopeful the smoke has cleared....but sadly it still has not. My patience is seriously being tested right now with homeschool, being stuck indoors due to Smoke outside, and of course all the other nonsense going on in the world around us. I bet your patience is being tested too!? Here’s a great quote as a reminder of how we can have better patience...and that is, by having a better attitude when things don’t go as we have planned, hoped or intended. “Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting” -Joyce Meyer It is NOT EASY, but if we have a good mindset and we know the desired outcome, then we can intentionally and positively choose the right attitude to accomplish the ultimate patience. This is my focus and intention right now. What kind of positive/helpful things are you saying to yourself to help get through these days?? This TShirt is my absolute FAVORITE! The quality of the fabric is top notch, it’s super soft and has a little stretch. The sleeves are the perfect length and the fit is excellent! Actually I just love everything about it! Also, if you are a fan of graphic tees @sheshowstore has some of the very best! Check out their page and store for some super fun options and prepare for a good laugh because some of them are quite funny! And to top it all off the prices are excellent! I will definitely be ordering from them again! Sunnies are from @charmingcharlie Amazing earrings made by my lovely sister @katrinamcrook *this is not a sponsored or paid ad, just my personal review!

“Don’t lose your PRESENT to your PAST” Being present in the moment isn’t always easy. Oftentimes I find myself thinking about the past or planning for the future, and therefore not being fully present in the NOW moments. Try to be consciously aware of where your mind wanders, and then you can gently sway it in the direction you desire it to be! Leather cuff and earrings by @katrinamcrook
