First time living on a ship for 5 months, and this is what it looked like…pt.1
Just want to extend a big thank you to Virgin Voyages for giving me the opportunity to be apart of the Happenings Cast on the Resilient Lady, and for life long memories, friends, and experiences.
And to my lovely cast, I seriously couldn’t have done this without you guys. Helping me achieve goals and conquer challenges, you guys are my rock and I could not have been anymore prouder then to have been apart of Res 6 with you all, and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us❤️

One contract, six months, twelve (no fourteen… no twenty… iykyk) amazing coworkers and too many memories to count. We launched new itineraries, new events, new F&B programs and entertained thousands of sailors. Ship life is tough, but these people make it worth it.
I haven’t posted much, but before I post the ports, the good times and the ridiculous amount of food I ate… this one’s for Brill 2 ❤️

First time in Seattle. Fiirst time in Alaska. First time onboard the Brilliant Lady! I've finally been on all of Virgin Lady ships!👍🏻

Up With a Twist was the best show I've seen yet and Rojo may have just knocked Pink Agave out of the top spot for favorite dining at sea. It was lovely reuniting with old friends and making new ones-- who knew another couple staying in our hotel would also be staying just a few cabins down from us onboard?!

Missing the warm drinks, cozy blankets and gorgeous views from my private terrace-- back into the summer heat we go🔥... Until next time?😜

Dude. I lived on a ship for 6 months.

I wanted to take a moment and reflect on this experience. Even now i’m extremely emotional thinking about how vastly things have changed. I am leaving the Brilliant Lady a changed woman. If i could sum it up quickly: I travelled, I painted, and I made a damn good friendship bracelet.

I know I am going to remember this contract for the rest of my life.

To my Happenings Cast:
I can’t imagine a better group to have done my first contract with. Thank you all for being the people you are. Thank you for teaching me, being there for me, and showing me how this place really works. Thank you for the game nights, The Crewbiedoobie, tear-filled rants. I am so grateful to have met all of you and I hope to see you again real soon!

I want to thank all of you Sailors that joined along for the journey as well! You all chose to come to my events, ask me about myself, and some even learned of my thesis and for that I’ll always be grateful.

Welp! After 36 countries, 12 hour days, and averaging only 26 days off, I think I’m gonna take a nap 😌

HAPPS BRL 2🔔❤️

What an honor it has been to work alongside these wonderful humans and be a part of the Brilliant Lady’s 2nd Happenings Cast. Through Red Hot Celebration Voyages, Mermaidens, the first VV Panama Canal crossing, an inaugural Alaska season and more, we handled these huge milestones with grace and love. It has been a pleasure to connect with so many sailors along the way and truly discover how big of a difference a smile or conversation can alter the course of someone’s day. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to build such beautiful relationships with those who sailed with us and create joy for a living. Puts a lot of things into perspective :,)

Now, speaking directly to my cast (all iterations of it haha) Thank you. You have become my family and dear friends and I am so incredibly proud of the work we have done over the past 6 months. To learn and grow next to you all has been more fulfilling than I could have ever imagined. Though we are going our separate ways, I know our moon looks down on us with fond eyes and will continue to keep us connected. What a privilege it is to know each and every one of you❤️
