I officially joined The Resiliency Circle 💚

Working with La Familia Sana has given me a front row seat to the very real things families in our community are navigating every single day and how this organization plays apart in helping those challenges. Sometimes support looks big, but honestly… a lot of times it’s small things that change everything. A ride to an appointment. Food support. Help during a stressful moment. Someone answering the phone when life feels heavy.

That’s why I decided to become a monthly donor and one of the founding members of The Resiliency Circle.

I love this idea because it’s built around the belief that small monthly donations truly add up over time and create steady, reliable support for our community.

If you’ve been looking for a way to give back locally in a meaningful way, I’d love for you to join too. Even $10 or $25 a month helps create real impact for local families. Learn more at
https://www.lafamiliasana.org/resiliencycircle

Stronger together. Every month. 🌿

Here’s the secret in why most people fail to adopt new healthy habits in their life. You’re motivated and excited about the new thing for the first few days then something happens— life, schedule, whatever you hit an obstacle, you miss and then you feel pretty bad at first about missing. Then you adjust and start thinking well it’s not that bad, I already missed today. I could miss another day and then slowly you’re no longer moving towards the new habit but away from it.

What I teach in RAW is that those are not failures. Those are just learning opportunities. All you have to do is keep trying, get curious, figure out a new strategy— a different way to do it, maybe reflect on why you’re not hitting the goal. This is exactly what I have put together for you in the free Quickstart guide which you can download from realalignedworthy.com.

But where the real magic lays is in celebrating all the good things that happened while trying, not focusing on the failure. For example, when I look at my step count and I look at week over week. I increased my average step count 1000 just by making the decision last Wednesday and then hitting the goal three days in a row even though I missed two days after that. And my overall average is now 6,500 when my goal is 7,500!!! I am so much closer! If I just focused on the days I missed I don’t have the opportunity to celebrate that major win of increasing my overall average.

Also, I can celebrate the wins like today one of my little walks to get my steps was with my son and we got to talk for 15 minutes straight, just him and I while we took in some sunshine, fresh air and moved our bodies. That wouldn’t have happened if I wasn’t trying (and still failing) to hit my new step count goal. Because here’s the truth it’s not a failure— the faster we can get away from rigid all or nothing thinking the faster we can live in the now. And not just live in it but revel in its beauty and magnificence.

If you’re ready to learn how to hold both power and softness— discipline and joy— structure and surrender I invite you check out the RAW Reset launching THIS Sunday at 8pm. DM me or drop the word “now” for details.
