The premiere of “An Act of Penance.” Was this in March? Yes. I’m terrible about posting. But man oh man am I so proud of this film and all the (fake) blood, sweat, and tears that got this project over the finish line. To see this on the big screen in New York City with an audience of family and friends has got to be the highlight of all highlights of my five (!!) years in the city. This film is a testament to pushing through, believing in something even if it doesn’t make sense or feels financially crazy. I knew I needed to make this and if given another chance to go back in time, I’d do it again. I could write a book on the things I learned in the process and I’m immensely grateful @lbetheredge and @rachiegiff said yes to my out-of-the-blue pitch to them to produce this thing. Much more to come. I’m so behind on the updates…

Hello 30!! This birthday weekend was beyond anything I could have imagined. Perfect in every way. I feel so incredibly blessed and overwhelmed by all the love, messages, and warmth shared with me. My heart is so full.

Hey look!! I believe in myself again! ✨🥹

Life really has been the bubbles under the sea! I did my last full musical in 2021 before the pandemic shut down my program for a while. Then, after graduating college and moving to nyc, doors just didn’t open the way I had hoped they were going to!

This month, I got to return to the stage after almost 6 years! The past 4 years of rejection really started taking a toll on my self esteem as an actress. I genuinely had moments where I thought to myself “maybe I suck and everyone is afraid to tell me”. Last year for Lent I gave up performing to seek, ask, and knock. The door didn’t open right away, but I knew performing was on the horizon.

I said to @michelvasquez_ and @mollieclaire_catherine before we left for the holidays “you guys have done so much this year and I’m ending yet another year with my prayer unanswered in the way I’d hoped”. They, of course lifted me up and reminded me of all the goodness Jesus has done in the last year of my life!!! Little did I know, I’d get to come to this sweet place and join a welcoming, lovely group of people here in NWA just a few weeks later. 🫧

There’s so much more to say. I’m so thankful!!!!! And grateful!!!! Everyone who has supported me from afar and prayed for me and encouraged me!!! I hope this is just the beginning 🫧🐠

I love live theatre.
