7 years ago today I was diagnosed with stage III brain cancer. Today I am launching a new production company with the hopes of bringing @themollyimpact back to life!

After spending years fighting cancer for my life, my independence and my livelihood, I then spent the next many watching handfuls of people I love struggle and pass from this horrific disease. It consumed my mind and made me believe that nothing else about me mattered. But there was always music, and there was always Carrigan. Two things that never failed to make me smile.

After launching The Molly Impact in 2021, I later realized I wasn’t ready to help others the way I truly wanted to. I wasn’t in a mindset to hear about their hardships, and their situations weren’t ones I could fix. Surrounding myself with stories of people struggling only made me struggle more, so TMI slowly stopped sending out care packages and we started to fundraise less and less.

After Carrigan passed I thought hard about how much of a difference she made in my life. The consistency of her friendship, the joy in her laugh and the power behind her voice. She inspired me in so many ways and this project has sprouted its wings because of the strength she carried.

@tmiproductions is launching our first cabaret - Best of Screen 2010s - with every penny going to @themollyimpact to help support families with cancer. This project brings together my absolute joy of performing, and my deep desire to remember and honor Carrigan and continue her passion of helping those in our tight knit cancer community.

I chose this theme because it’s exactly what Carrigan would have loved. Hannah Montana, (she was a big Miley Cyrus girl 😉) Lemonade Mouth, Camp Rock and so much more! It’s going to be a huge nostalgic concert, and I know she would have been singing along from the audience, and I hope you will be too.

We will be selling @katies_collective stickers and TMI matchbooks (@matchesandmementos ) as part of the fundraiser as well. Hope to see you there 🦋🎗️❤️
