founder friday • katy priscott

katy joined strada in 2022 after meeting gary, chae and gino, and immediately recognising their ambition to build something different. it felt like a natural fit where her expertise in growth could complement their vision.

she began her career in the uk as an apprentice in housing, gaining experience across tech, marketing, lettings, customer service and finance while completing her qualifications. this early exposure gave her a 360° understanding of how the industry operates inside and out. she then climbed the ladder and successfully gained roles in growth, operations and data capacities, where she focused on driving efficiency, forecasting and meeting kpis in high-pressure environments that demanded both precision and accountability.

since joining strada, katy has led major projects including the evolution of the company’s crm, the development of new teams and systems across listings, admin and hr, and the introduction of policies designed to empower colleagues to push themselves further. guided by the belief that everything can be improved, she often applies techniques like reverse brainstorming to uncover unconventional solutions and drive meaningful growth.

originally from somerset in the uk, katy moved to dubai in 2021 with her husband (her childhood sweetheart) and their dog bonnie. now 30, she and her husband are expecting their first child in february 2026, and she continues to embrace the pace, opportunity and lifestyle that dubai offers.
