For some people, creativity begins with a single passion. For others, one curiosity leads to another.

This is Ashu (@kaunashutosh )a musician, editor and filmmaker whose journey has moved between instruments, compositions, films and independent projects. From his early days exploring music to collaborating on Awara films, he has continued to find new ways to express himself.

Because sometimes, freedom is about never having to limit yourself to just one form of creation.

KYUNKI AWAARGI HI AZAADI HAI 🕊

Here is my cover of ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’🤍

I’ve always been a fan of Jasleen Royal’s unique, soothing voice and calming tone. This song has something so beautifully old and nostalgic about it,
it takes me to a beach at night, a bonfire with friends, twinkling stars and little dreams in the air. ✨

Here’s my humble try at this beautiful song. 🌙

“Sammi Meri Vaar” is more than a melody — it carries the ache of Punjabi folklore. ❤️**

Sammi,is associated with an old folk tradition from Punjab, where longing, separation and love find expression through song and dance.

And perhaps that is why “Sammi Meri Vaar”feels so hauntingly beautiful — you may not understand every word, yet somehow you understand the emotion.

The word ‘vaar/vaari’ can carry the sentiment of being devoted to someone, giving oneself for them— an expression of deep affection often heard in Punjabi.

I’ve always loved songs that don’t just sound beautiful, but carry a story from one generation to another.

Here’s my little attempt at ‘Sammi Meri Vaar.’🎶
Hope you feel it as much as I did while singing it. ❤️

Some films don’t just entertain you… they make you realise things you were too busy feeling to understand. 🤍

Kuch log humari life mein bina kisi purpose ke enter karte hain… unintentionally.
But somewhere along the way, they become the reason we find our own purpose.
Maybe that's what Date is really about.
Not losing someone.

But finding yourself in everything they left behind. 🎬❤️

Fights of freedom aren't always fought with rifles and blood but also with poems and art.

Here at Awara Storyteller Studios, we don't just create to make ends meet. We write, read, perform, act, edit because it gives us freedom in our daily chaos.

We believe that our stories give others a fair chance at fighting for their own freedom. That's why we make our own mark.

Kyunki Awaargi hi Azaadi hai 🇮🇳
