Bring your blankets, bring your friends, and bring your energy as we come together for a cookout and mini ball celebrating the beauty, resilience, and creativity of our community. BYOE.

* Com vs Com: Bless the Ball
* Similar to how Black families say grace before a meal or a cookout, bless the ball before the festivities begin. Your chant should include elements of blessing the function or setting the tone for the evening. You must use the word “grace” in your chant.

* OTA Performance: Alongside your pride your flag or pride flag colors, bring it in a touch of pink in the name of Legendary Amaya.

* Best Dressed: Wear your best fit to the cookout

* Best Cookout Family as a House:
* Bring it in your best cookout attire. Best dressed & looking family at the cookout.

* OTA Runway: Rep your black pride
* Bring it in iconic black fashion staples; jewelry, afro, braids etc.

After the Halloween parade(pics dropping soon) a friend told me about a Rave happening downtown.

We’re mutuals with someone in the space and I thought why not attend.

I still had a few bars of battery on my cam so like I usually do, I chose to capture the space.

I can’t explain how it felt, but it was all so soothing.

It was loud, the air was toxic, on we were all on some ledge under a bride.

But nobody cared, they just wanted to enjoy that night & do what they want.

Maybe that’s why I enjoyed that night.
