GOODMORNING
So 3 Years Ago after I ended up by myself I had lost everything basically and i had to find ways to heal all throughout a very tough time where no where felt safe

SO I MADE S.W.O.R.D.S and It was my healing process in a world where i didn’t have nothing else to do other than to get right and get myself in order

Told Myself I’d Give it 3 Years of stitching wounds finding myself again and really taking my energy and putting it in the right places and giving myself that lift again

3 years have passed and now it’s time for
S.H.I.E.L.D.S and it will be taking this healing process of mine through this time and show you guys where i’ve gotten since then.

So Enjoy This Snippet

Presenting The Ember in wonderland Collection (my 1st I’m the designer I made it all from scratch mostly with curtains )

“A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” 🧚🏽‍♀️✨❤️‍🔥

Honestly, I used to think I was a “Ember of all trades.” Over time, I realized I’m really a polymath and that explains a lot.

I’ll choose one at a time, but never just one.

This fellowship with @sew.modest took me from beginner sewing classes, to intermediate, to fellowship — where we explored color, texture, emotion, mental wellbeing, sewing techniques, and how fashion can tell a story. (The classes were from January to august)

While balancing my businesses, DJing, festivals, teaching, panels, and shows, I had two weeks (maybe less 😭) to create a 12-piece collection.

So I used what I had: curtains, scraps, borrowed machines, helping hands, adaptive skills, and a whole lot of happy accidents.

The collection especially my Time Keeper look with its gears, keys, scraps, corsetry, draping, and gold became a reflection of how I move through the world: collecting pieces, transforming them, and making something new.

I’m incredibly proud of what came from such a chaotic and beautiful process.

Thank you to my Sew Modest instructors, fellows, models, family, friends, and @homiehangz DJs for every helping hand, machine, idea, and moment of support. ❤️‍🔥

Don’t let the art live in you. Express yourself. God gave it to you for a reason.

🧚🏽‍♀️✨❤️‍🔥
