Where the garage meets the tailor. 🏁

The room was all sharp tailoring, the kind that makes you stand a little straighter. Then the cars came in, low and fast, and the saxophones got louder. Not the kind of loud that takes over, the kind that makes you lean in.

Somewhere between the first note and the last, the BOSS x Aston Martin idea clicked for me: “Form follows motion”. Good design is meant to move, and so are the people wearing it.

Tailoring. Speed. A little brass in the background. Some nights just get it right. 🎷🏎️

For this experience, every bite was created with intention — not simply to complement the fragrances, but to translate their notes into flavour. Each canapé and dessert was thoughtfully paired with the character, accords and sensory journey of the perfumes, creating a culinary expression of fragrance.

@gertjohancoetzee stepped into new territory last week, trading fabric for fragrance with the launch of his debut eau de parfum collection, six scents, six moods, one unmistakable creative signature.

Shaped by time spent in Grasse, France (the perfume capital of the world), each bottle carries the same drama and intention Gert brings to the runway. From playful to smoky to unapologetically bold, there’s a mood for every version of you.

Family filled the room, love filled the air, and the city came out to celebrate a designer who’s spent nearly 20 years dressing icons, now bottling his own.
