Last week my @hey.lalocal @boyleheightsbt @longbeachpost team gathered for some pottery, team building and collaborative learning work in South LA and Long Beach. From a small newsroom to barely fitting altogether in one shot. This is the team that cares deeply about community centered local journalism. So proud of all they do and the laughter and joy flowing from this team of incredible colleagues.

The way that unfortunately so many in swana diaspora can relate to this… bring me the dirt. New episode is up featuring Kurdish legend, writer and restorative justice practitioner @_daliazada This was recorded a while back and every word rings truer than ever.
